Taskforce beta · Edition 2026-09-14
Beta terms of use
Taskforce is an early Mac beta for individuals who want to capture their next step and resume interrupted work. These terms explain the free beta, its limits and how to leave.
Provider and contact
The provider is 태스크포스, a sole proprietorship in South Korea, business registration number 687-30-01972. Contact: songch9511@gmail.com. The accompanying Privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Representative and privacy contact: Cheonghyeok Song. Business address: 262-20, Galma-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, Republic of Korea.
Optional account
You may use Taskforce locally without creating an account. Where account sign-in is enabled, an email verification code signs you in or creates an account if you are new. Use an email address you control. Keep verification codes private. The website and Mac app create separate sessions for the same identity.
An account does not include cloud synchronization, a paid plan, a purchase entitlement or a guaranteed device allowance in this beta. Signing in does not authorize source or AI connections. Signing in gives you beta access and a download link. It does not subscribe you to emails. To close your account, contact support from its email address; closing the account does not erase your Mac workspace.
Free beta and future pricing
Taskforce does not charge for this beta, collect payment details or automatically start a subscription. The suggested feedback period is two weeks; it is not an automatic billing date. The app does not impose a two-week expiration on your local workspace.
Future paid plans, if offered, will require a separate clear offer and your affirmative purchase. Using this beta does not commit you to buy or grant a lifetime free license to future versions. We will announce a beta-end or material access change in advance and explain how to export your data. Existing local data is not deleted merely because the beta ends.
External AI tools, provider accounts and other third-party services may have their own charges, subscriptions and usage limits. Those are your responsibility and are not included in Taskforce's free beta.
License and your content
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install the beta on Macs you own or control and use it for your own personal or professional work. Do not sell, sublicense, impersonate Taskforce or redistribute modified builds as official releases. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses; notices are included with the application.
You keep ownership of your content. The license does not grant us ownership of your workspace or permission to publish it. Feedback can be used to improve the product; named testimonials require separate permission.
Supported scope
The first cohort is supported on Apple Silicon Macs. The bundle requires macOS 13 or later; that minimum does not mean every supported OS or device has been tested. Intel, Windows and mobile use are outside this beta cohort.
Actions, next steps, Last Stop, Focus, completion/reopen, source connections and external AI Handoff are included in the beta scope. Login, source connections and external AI are optional. Experimental connections can be incomplete or unavailable. Gmail is paused; Google Calendar is limited to authorized test accounts. No general-public Google approval is claimed.
This beta uses manual replacement updates. It does not include automatic updates, cross-device workspace sync or a paid entitlement system.
Responsible use
Only connect accounts and process information you are authorized to use. Respect third-party terms and your organization's data rules. Do not bypass scope restrictions, interfere with the connection service, distribute malicious input or attempt unauthorized access.
Review AI results and source references. You are responsible for work decisions and completion. Taskforce is not the original record of external systems and is not designed for safety-critical uses. Maintain a separate backup before updating or testing recovery.
Availability and support
Beta software can contain errors, lose availability or change. We provide support on a best-effort basis through the published email address; no response-time or uptime service level is included. Provider authorization, connectivity and limits can interrupt optional features.
We aim to preserve your data during updates and test migration paths, but cannot promise compatibility with every future or older version. Read release notes and back up before upgrading. Do not downgrade an encrypted workspace into an older build without a documented compatible recovery path.
Ending use and your rights
You can stop using the beta at any time. Use Settings → Privacy for backup or whole-profile deletion, revoke external grants separately and remove the application if desired. External backups and agent configurations remain your responsibility.
We may suspend access to hosted features for misuse or a security issue and will explain material changes where reasonably possible. These terms do not waive rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Changes to pricing or materially different uses of your information require their own notice and choice.
